Veronét Vineyards
Veronét Vineyards, located in Kings Mountain, is a newer winey that opened in the fall of 2019. The drive up to the winery allows you to see how spacious it is. You are greeted by a host with information if this is your first trip or welcome you back. The tasting room is sleek and modern with plenty of room to spread out. We ordered lunch from the Cousins Maine Lobster truck and sat inside for our tasting. After lunch we moved outside. We arrived an hour after opening and all outdoor seating was taken. I would get there when they open to snag a table. Better yet the next time I go I will take a blanket and chairs which was a popular option. They are very welcoming for kids and dogs. I enjoyed the Sauvignon Blanc 2019 and Charles liked the Barbera Reserve 2018. They also offered a local craft beer. Before visiting check out their website. They provide details to make your afternoon memorable. Although it was extremely crowded, there were 3 serving areas to alleviate standing in line. It didn’t feel crowded with so much room to spread out. We brought chairs and sat in a shady spot with an amazing view of Crowders Mountain. Veronét is a relaxing place to spend an afternoon with family and friends. We will definitely be back.
