Stone Ashe Vineyard and Winery

Hendersonville and the surrounding area has several wineries. So what makes Stone Ashe different? Just walk into the tasting room and you are greeted by Nicole, a knowledgeable and outgoing host who guides you through a tasting of both white and red wines. The winery is casual yet elegant. The decor is relaxing and feels like sitting in a friend’s living room. Even though they specialize in Bordeaux grape varieties, they have created a 2019 Sauvignon Blanc that is crisp, balanced with citrus and aged in stainless steel, this white wine lover’s dream. It was the perfect wine to enjoy an afternoon with friends. Charles enjoyed the 2018 Petit Verdot. The name comes from the steep slopes and soil where the vines grow. The tasting room is located at the base of the massive rows of vines. Amazing to see such a sustainable use of land. Dogs are welcome. Winery events kick off in April will an early barrel tasting. Be sure to check out their website for hours and special events.
