Russian Chapel Hills Winery is located in Columbus, North Carolina. It is formerly Green Creek Vineyards. The owner, Andrey, purchased the property and renamed it after he moved to the United States from Russia in 2009. In 2013 the winery added the St. Anne Chapel, which is part of the Russian Church outside of Russia. The chapel is situated a short walk from the tasting room. The chapel interior is picture worthy and a must see. We have been to Russian Chapel Hills twice. Their Chardonnay and Saugnivon Blanc both are aged in oak barrels and are rich in butter notes. Charles enjoyed the 2014 Mosiac. They also produce Mead. There is ample seating outside with a great view of the chapel. The tasting room has the biggest wine glass I have ever seen.
