Linville Falls Winery is located just off the Blue Ridge Parkway in a valley that not only grows several varieties of grapes, but also fruit, corn, and Christmas trees. Part of the appeal of Linville Falls is the casual atmosphere of the owners and staff. Grab a glass or bottle and enjoy the backdrop of the North Carolina mountains. Inside you can have a guided tasting with knowledgeable staff or enjoy on your own tableside. Either way you are sure to find a wine that suits your tastes. There is seating in the tasting room and additional heated seating in a covered area. The two indoor areas are separated by a fireplace that is popular. They have plenty of outdoor seating that overlooks the tree farm. You are welcome to bring your own food. They have wine accessories and crafts from local artists available. I enjoyed the Cascade and Charles like the Merlot. On crowded weekends they have bar service in the barn. Food trucks and live music every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday during warm weather.
