Black Rock Winery is special to Charles and I. This is the winery we said to eat other “let’s visit every winery in North Carolina”. The tasting room is cozy and they offer lots of wine accessories. We visited in July of 2019 and it was too hot to sit outside in the afternoon. The 2013 Chambourcin has won numerous awards and was a hit with Charles. I liked the Traminette. Black Rock is a great venue to hold various events. The tasting room staff is knowledgeable and friendly. He answered a lot of our questions. There is an outside patio with a waterfall. At $7 the tasting is the most affordable we have tried. They offer local food items if you need a snack.
