Hot Cocoa Bombs
20 minutes
12 servings
No drink is better than hot cocoa and these make a great gift.
Directions
Melt chocolate (you can use food coloring to change the color of white chocolate)
With a brush or spoon spread chocolate in each mold
Invert mold over a small cookie sheet and put in the freezer for a few minutes. Take out and see if you need another layer of chocolate. A second layer gives it the thickness to handle and will fill in any holes. After second layer invert over cookie sheet and return to freezer for a couple of minutes.
Take chocolate out of molds.
Take a semi circle and with the cookie sheet resting ona burner on low heat, melt the edges (not much, just to make edges smooth)
Only the edge on half. You will melt the other half when you put them together.
Fill the half that has had the edge smoothed with hot chocolate mix. Add some marshmallows on top of the cocoa mix.
Melt the edge of the other half and put it with the filled half. If it doesn't fit perfectly, fill in with some of the melted chocolate.
Decorate any way you want. Put in a cupcake paper.
You can put in pastic bags to give as gifts.
Put bomb in cup and pour 8 oz of hot milk or water. Stir well until completely dissolved.
